Asus Eee series have been known for their battery life and portability. Another extension being added to this Eee series is the S101 model which is sporting the same configuration of Eee 901 but has some bigger capacity SSD Drives and the brown color (till now it is only the brown). Jerry Shen the president of Asus had itself revealed the new ultimate Asus S101 Eee PC in Taiwan. He followed the same trick of uncovering the machine from envelop as what Apple did for Macbook Air.

The image above clearly shows the Eee logo has been dug on the new device (in brown) and is being compared to the older 901 series (in white).

This new model is no different to the previous 901 series. The machine weighs less than a KG and it features the 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor N270 and 945GME chipset sporting a 10.2 inches screen. The power backup will be of around 4-5 hours. This is the same configuration as found in the current ones. It will be available with two storage capacities 32 GB SSD & 64 GB (expected) SSD.

The price for 32GB model is $699 & for 64GB (expected) model is $899 and they will get in production from mid of September. The S101 ultimate series is very suitable for medium-class businessmen, giving security, performance & a longer battery life.
