Samsung Unveils 14.7 MegaPixel NV 100 HD Camera

The Korean giant, Samsung has launched another product into the digital camera market. The new product, the NV 100 HD pocket digital camera features an awesome resolution of 14.7 MegaPixel.

Not only it has an impressive resolution of 14.7 MP, it also has renowned Schneider lens yielding a 28mm wide-angle focal length with 3.6x optical zoom. It promises that images will be detailed, sharp and clear at every shot. It can shoot images with a maximum resolution of 4384 x 3288 pixels. It also has a 3-inch 460.000 pixel LCD touch screen. It also introduces Samsung’s next generation Smart Touch 2.0 user interface, which further simplifies the way users navigate through the camera’s comprehensive feature set, with the use of touch-screen technology, users can now select and control various camera functions by interacting with the large three-inch touch-screen LCD.This enhances the experience for the shooter and the operation of the Smart Touch interface, and also provides for a much sleeker and attractive design.

The camera can record in Stereo and 720p HDTV Video (1280×720) at 30 frames per second. The movie playback in 1.2 NTSC or PAL requires the optional SCC-NV5HD HDMI docking station. It has an all-metal build, it is pocket-sized with dimensions of 3.68″ x 2.34″ x 0.80″. Not only that, it also has a smile detector so you better smile in front of this camera, and it can also detect blinks and also has a face recognition option.

It is available in all-black, or silver with a red accent. It will be made available by the end of August. No word about pricing is available yet.
