Samsung Introduces M150 Budget Phone

Though Samsung may be releasing a lot of high end cell phones, but they are also releasing phones for the entry level market too. Samsung M150 is targeted for fashion-conscious users who don’t want to spend too much money on a mobile device.

The new Samsung M150 comes in a simple but nice candybar case. It has a metal-resembling design and features a softly brushed hairline pattern which is found in Samsung’s high end metal phones. It measures only 106.5 x 45.4 x 12.7 millimeters and brings the following features: a 1.77 inch TFT display with 65K colors and 128 x 160 pixels, dual-band GSM connectivity with GPRS (EDGE is missing), Music player which supports MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+ and RA, FM radio, WAP 2.0 browser along with email capabilities and personalized ringtones. It has a VGA camera that also supports MPEG 4 video recording. Along with this,it also has a speakerphone, embedded games, alarm clock. The phone also has Bluetooth support. The new phone will come with 20MB internal memory. Whether it will have a microSD slot is not yet known. Samsung will offer the new M150 in no less than 5 color versions: Ice Blue, Pure White, Light Gray, Charcoal Gray and Lavender Pink.

The slim candybar phone is going to be released first in Germany around mid August. After that, it is going to be made available around the markets in Asia, Europe, Middle East, America etc. The pricing details has not yet been released but it is not going to be expensive.
