So as expected, Apple officially announced the iPhone 2.0 at the WWDC. Here are some of the new features
- It supports 3G and faster data networks
- It supports GPRS
- Apple has changed the design a little bit and has made it more thinner
- It will be availbale in 22 countries starting July 11
- The price has been reduced : $199 for the 8GB and $299 for the 16GB
- Third party applications and the App store will be available in Early July
- And it has a longer lasting battery life which is an awesome feature
It will also have Typepad, an application for the bloggers so that they can easily upload images and content. The Appstore will now contain fresh 3D games such as Super Monkey Ball, racing games etc. It will cost around $9.99 to download a game. The iPhone 2.0 SDK will be available from July and it will be free for iPhone users. And Airtel will be bringing the iPhone 2.0 to India later this year. Details about pricing will be available later.

The features look too good to be true. I’m buying one as soon as it hits the markets on July 11th. What about you?
It will be launched in India after some months. If it is cheap i will go for it else i am thinking of getting one from US
