April 11th, 2008 by Shashank

First the rumors and later some hands on pictures posted on several blogs make me believe that Nokia was not overlooking the iPhone’s huge success rather it was developing something that can compete with iPhone. Nokia has finally revealed(or say leaked) interesting Nokia Tube 5800 which is being considered as a iPhone killer so far. The features includes a 3.1 MP camera, quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM/EDGE radio with 3G UMTS/HSDPA and TV-Out port for a wide-screen view. The touchscreen(its not multi-touch) phone supports Bluetooth, WiFi connectivity teamed up with GPS and 3.2 inch touchscreen display with 16 Million colors.

The Nokia Tube will be first handset of Nokia featuring a 5th generation of Symbian 60 user interface with Touch UI. ” It’s our first touch device,” said Tom Libertto, vice president of Forum Nokia.
