Maxblaster Mega Flashlight Sort of Handheld Sunbeam

4 February 2008 By Shashank

Dutch optics engineer Ralf Ottow has developed an incredibly powerful flashlight torch which is powered via 54 internal batteries and is capable of generating a halo of light of various kilometers. Ralf Ottow has been building flashlight since he was eight and his recent creation can be think of as 38 million candlepower generating one hell of flashlight which is obviously not for kids play it can even fry your skin and could have damaging consequences for sure if pointed in someone’s eye.

The Maxablaster can put a bright spot of light on a cloud four miles high and illuminate a house from just as far. But Ottow doesn’t use it to spook his neighbors. “It’s not a torch you’d walk your dog with,” he says. “It would probably cook your dog.”

Robert says:

All he needs now are a few more of these torches and some big letters that read “FOX”.
