I hope it is true. I didn't buy a PS3 solely because I couldn't play PS1 or PS2 games on it, and wanted to still use PS2 games. If I can play PS1, PS2, PS3 AND PS4 games on this, I WILL save up to buy it. I am so happy to hear that PS4 is rumoured to be backwards compatible. I hope it is true.

I didn’t buy a PS3 solely because I couldn’t play PS1 or PS2 games on it, and wanted to still use PS2 games. If I can play PS1, PS2, PS3 AND PS4 games on this, I WILL save up to buy it.
