HCL Infosystems has introduced its low cost MiLeap series of laptops that aim to change the way laptops are being seen. The low cost affordable laptops can prove to be a landmark in the laptop industry as the ultra portable laptops have prices starting from Rs 13,390/- only.The new laptops will offer full pc functionality and mobility at a cheap price.

MiLeap has X and Y series out of which X series is available at a starting price of Rs 13,390/- whereas Y series of of MiLeap is available at a starting price of Rs 33,990/-.The X series of laptop are available with both flash based and disk based storage. The laptops are wi-fi ready along with having network ports. The X series of laptops comes with the Linux operating system.

The Y series of MiLeap series laptops are powered by the latest Intel mobile processor and features Microsoft’s Vista Home Premium Operating system with 80GB HDD, wireless connectivity, data card option, Blue-tooth, and Ethernet network port.

These MiLeap series of laptops will be making their debut on 26 Jan 2008
