I was waiting for this to happen ,With the help of new camcorders from Hitachi you could burn loads of videos directly into the Blu-Ray DVD thus giving you the power to instantly playback the Blu-Ray disk in compatible players.Hitachi has revealed two HD camcorders BD70E and BD7HE the latter one is Hybrid and comes with Internal 30GB Hard Drive.

Lets have a look at the feature of both HD Cams:

They have superb 5.3 Megapixel cmos sensors with capability to record 1920 x 1080 high-definition media to 8cm discs .The second model BD7HE also comes with inbuilt Hard drive thus you can store your videos and burn at you will.

Pricing and availability: The BD70E will cost around US $1,775 and the Hybrid version with 30 GB Hard drive at BD7HE US $2000. Hitachi’s Blu-Ray camcorders are said to be the world’s first Blu-Ray ready Camcorders they even have HDMI outputs.Both models will become available in Europe in October 2007.

  1. Prices are on higher end, but BRD’s in camcorder would let you shoot great lenght of videos. i cant think of it :grin:
